My Neighbor in Need - Senior Couple taking care of their grand daughter and struggling on a low, fixed income, are in need of a microwave oven to cook and heat their meals. Their 40-year old oven is no longer working and cannot be repaired. My Neighbor in Need looked around for a used microwave but we could not find one, so we are looking for a donation of $49 so we can but this family a new microwave oven. He is currently sleeping in a broken down recliner, which is giving him back issues. Neighbor in Need - Disabled man in a wheelchair, is in need of a warm winter coat size 3X. He only has a pull-over sweatshirt and it is not keeping him warm enough. My Neighbor in Need called the local thrift stores and no one had a 3X coat so we went and purchased a new one for him. Now we are asking for help to reimburse us $27.82 - the cost of the coat. Conlin's Furniture can provide him with a new Twin Sleep System for a discounted price of $170 and they will deliver and set it up for free! If you can help him, you are asked to make a donation of any amount up to $170 to My Neighbor in Need and we will buy the bed for him. Neighbor in Need - An elderly lady, living on a very low, fixed income is in need of getting the gas line pressured tested in her older mobile home. She cannot have the gas turned on until the line is tested for safety BUT she cannot afford the cost. With this, she has to use space heaters and lots of blankets to try and stay warm. She received an estimate of $800 from a large heating company, but we called on one of our professional Good Deed Doers - John at 5-Star heating and he is able to do this immediately for a discounted price of $150. If you can help her, you are asked to make a donation of $150 to My Neighbor in Need and we will pay to have the test and she will be able to have heat! My Neighbor In Need- Disabled man, trying to survive on less than $10,000 per year, is in need of a full bed System (mattress and box spring). Currently he is sleeping on the cold floor. Our friends at Conlin's Furniture can provide him with a new full size sleep system for a discounted price of $229 and they will deliver and set it up for free! Therefore we are asking for donations of any amount up to $229 to My Neighbor in Need and we will buy him the bed. You are not required to provide all of the needed amount rather please tell us how much you wish to contribute. Once we receive all of the needed amount, we will buy him the bed.
