Free Pet Food Pantry

Beginning in 2017, members of the Humane Society approached us and asked us if we would be willing to assume the duties of their pet food giveaway due to the limited available hours of their operation. With their help and help from kind donors such as Walmart, Great Falls Community Food Bank, Super One Foods, Pet Paw See, and others, we expanded the original operation into the Free Pet Food Pantry. The Free Pet Food Pantry is housed inside the offices of My Neighbor in Need and My Student In Need at 511 Central Ave STE 104 Great Falls. The hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 9am – noon and 1pm – 5pm.

The Free Pet Food Pantry distributes approximately 400-pounds of pet food each week! The majority of those seeking free pet food are seniors and the elderly who without our services would feed their pets before feeding themselves.

When donations of pet food run low, we are left with a difficult choice. Either close the Free Pet Food Pantry until we receive donations of pet food or take non-budgeted, general funds and purchase pet food so that our doors do not close. This is why it is so crucial that we ask for donations of pet food or financial support so that we never have to let our furry family members go hungry.
