My Neighbor in Need- Disabled mom of three children, is in need of a gas card to get to and from medical appointments. Currently waiting for disability to be approved. We verified her drivers license, registration, and insurance. Because she needed this immediately, we purchased the $30.00 gas card for her. We are asking help with the cost of the gas card. If you can help, you are asked to make any donation up to $30 to My Neighbor in Need and we will buy another $30 "Gas Only" card on your behalf so we are ready to help fulfill the next Immediate Need. Because space is limited in her apartment she does not have room for a bed and a couch. My Neighbor in Need - Hardworking family have to take their very young child to Seattle Children's Hospital for crucial surgery. Due to the uncertainty of the airlines and the extreme cost of the tickets, they will be driving to ensure that they arrive at the hospital in time for the surgery. They are in need of assistance with the cost of fuel and the three nights of lodging. The hospital will allow one parent to stay with the child in the room but the other parent must stay in a motel. We have verified the needs and logistics and confirmed the trip's timeline. They have secured a motel at a nightly "medical" rate of $100 including tax for a total of $300. In addition, they are in need of help with the gas to get them to the hospital and return them to Great Falls. They have valid driver's license, registration and insurance. Based on the type of vehicle that they have and the 670 miles each way, we estimate that it will take $325 in "gas only" gift cards. The total cost to fulfill this family's need is $625. You are not required to provide all of the needed amount. Rather, just tell us how much you wish to contribute towards it. My Neighbor in Need- UPDATE: SEE BELOW...Disabled Veteran fostering his grandchildren, is in need of a gently used/clean table with four chairs and a gently used/clean microwave cart. Currently they are having to sit on the floor to eat their meals. UPDATE: WE HAVE A DONOR WHO PROVIDED TABLE AND FOUR CHAIRS THEREFORE, WE ONLY NEED OF MICROWAVE CART AND HIS NEED IS FULFILLED. She moved here with nothing. Although she does work full-time, it is for low wages. UPDATE: WE HAVE A DONOR WHO PROVIDED THE COUCH, THEREFORE, ALL WE NEED IS THE DRESSER.
