Neighbor in Need - UPDATE: A senior couple with medical conditions were in need of immediate help with lodging while the wife was being treated at Benefis Hospital. Due to her medical condition, she was unable to stay at the Rescue Mission. A local motel was willing to let them stay in a room for a week for the discounted price of $275. Because we were able to verify that this was an immediate need, we paid the cost for the motel so she could get her needed treatment. Now we are asking for help from the community to reimburse My Neighbor in Need $275 so we can be ready to fulfill the next immediate need request. WE RECEIVED A GENEROUS DONATION OF $20 TOWARDS THIS NEED, LEAVING A BALANCE OF $255. You are not required to provide the entire needed amount, rather simply tell us how much you wish to contribute.
