My Neighbor in Need - A unemployed, but hopeful soul, just went from the mission into his own place. Now he is need of some cleaning supplies as the apartment he was able to get into had not been cleaned properly. We are asking for a donation of $50 so we can go and buy and then give him, the necessary cleaning products and such so he can clean his new home. My Neighbor in Need - A local non-profit, service organization that helps My Neighbor in Need fulfill need requests, is in great and immediate need of used/clean beds (mattresses and box springs). They currently have over 50 people on a waiting list for beds. They are in need of all sizes of beds - but especially Twin Size and Queen Size. My Neighbor in Need- Hard working man has just been hired at a new job and is in need of a $30 gas card to get back and forth to work as he doesn't receive his first paycheck for 2 weeks. Due to his immediate need we provided his with a $30 gas card and are now asking for reimbursement so that we may help the next person in need. My Neighbor in Need - Young Man, with disabilities, is in need of help getting his very old car's- driver door handle repaired. Currently it does not work so he has to use the passenger door but with his disabilities, it is difficult. The handle broke off but he was able to find a replacement handle but with his limitations, he is unable to install it. Carnahans's Auto Repair can install the handle for a discounted price of $68. My Neighbor in Need - Grandmother, who was working, had to take time off as she prepares to receive and take care of three grandchildren, is in need immediate need of gas. Her car is on "E" and she will not receive any financial support until the first of the month. My Neighbor in Need verified her Driver's License, Car Registration and Insurance. Because we deemed this an immediate need, we provided her with a $30 gas card. Now we are asking for help from our community to reimburse My Neighbor in Need the cost of the gas card so we can be ready to help fulfill the next person who comes in with an immediate need request. My Neighbor in Need- Disabled gentleman is in need of repairs for his car so that he can get back and forth to Dr appointments. Our generous friends at Automotive Machine can repair the car for $344.57 and the Neighbor in Need is able to pay $55.00 towards this need however, he needs help with the balance of $289.57. My Neighbor in Need - Senior woman with medical issues receiving low fixed income from SSD, is in need of help getting her older car repaired. Her car was towed to Tire Rama, and they were able to make the needed repairs for a discounted price of $365.75 and she was able to scrape together $69.95 leaving a balance of $295.80. My Neighbor in Need - Elderly, Widowed, Woman is in need of help getting her kitchen sink cleared. The water will not go down and it will require a professional drain cleaner. Our friends at Straight Flush Drain Cleaning is able to clear her drain for a discounted price of $125. Because of her limited, low income she is unable to pay for this much needed service. If you can help, you are asked to make a donation of any amount up to $125 and we will get her drain cleared on your behalf. My Neighbor in Need - Senior lady, who has some medical issues, and has recently fallen, had surgery and now is in need of a wheelchair for three-months while she recovers. We called Cascade County Aging Services but they did not have one. Although she has Medicare, they only cover a small amount of the cost. Therefore, My Neighbor in Need called our friends Clark's Orthopedic and they are able to provide her with the needed wheelchair for three-months at a discounted price of $150. If you can help her, you are asked to make a donation of any amount up to $150 to My Neighbor in Need and we will get her the wheelchair. You are not required to pay the entire needed amount. My Neighbor in Need - My Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: Older lady with medical issues is in need of a wheelchair ramp to be installed on her trailer. She is unable to get in and out of her trailer safely due to her mobility issues. Bryan at All About Mobility can purchase the parts and install the needed metal ramp for a discounted price of $4,100. Because of her limited, fixed income, she cannot afford the ramp, but thanks to two caring organizations, the majority of the cost is already paid for. All we need is help with the balance of $1,100 and she can get her ramp and be able to get out of her trailer and go to the doctor and grocery store safely. If you can help, you are asked to make any donation up to $1,100 to My Neighbor in Need and she will get her ramp! UPDATE: WE HAVE A GENEROUS DONOR OF $75 AND ANOTHER DONOR OF $125 TOWARD THIS NEED, SO WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR HELP WITH THE BALANCE OF $900. You are not required to provide all of the needed amount. Rather, just tell us how much you wish to contribute. If you and 19 friends or co-workers gave just $45 each, she gets her ramp!
