My Neighbor in Need- Grandmother, who was working, had to take time off as she prepares to receive and take care of three grandchildren, is in immediate need of gas to get her granddaughter to Dr appointment. Her car is on "E" and she will not receive any financial support until the first of the month. My Neighbor in Need verified her Driver's License, Car Registration and Insurance. Because we deemed this an immediate need, we provided her with a $30 gas card. Now we are asking for help from our community to reimburse My Neighbor in Need the cost of the gas card so we can be ready to help fulfill the next person who comes in with an immediate need request. My Neighbor in Need- Unemployed lady, recently moved back to town, is in need of a bus pass to seek work and get to job interviews. A monthly bus pass costs $30 from the Great Falls Transit District. My Neighbor in Need- Disabled man, running low on funds is in need of a $60 gas card to get to a crucial medical appointment in Billings. We verified his driver's license, car registration and insurance. We also verified his appointment in Billings, MT. Because his appointment was fast approaching, we provided him with a $60 "Gas Only" gift card so he could make his appointment. Now we are asking help with the cost of the gas card. My Neighbor in Need - Immediate Need! - Older lady, recently widowed, is in need of help getting her furnace repaired so she can have heat. The furnace stopped and she has been using a space heater but it is very cold in her home. Because of her limited resources, she cannot afford the cost of the repair. A local furnace company that My Neighbor in Need has used in the past went out there and said that it can be repaired but even at a discounted price, the parts and multiple hours of labor will cost $500. This lady has been through a lot and needs a break. We are asking for donations of any amount so we can get the heat back on. My Neighbor in Need - Older man, walked into the My Neighbor in Need office and was in Emergency need of gas for his car which ran out on the street. He provided proof of a driver's license, car registration and insurance. Because this was an immediate need, we provided him with a $30 Gas Only fuel card, now we are asking for help with the reimbursement so we can be able to help with the next immediate need request. My Neighbor in Need - Elderly lady on a very low, fixed income and living at a retirement home, is in need of a used/working microwave oven and small "dorm size" fridge for her room. Although she does receive three-meals a day, she needs to keep some drinks and food in her room between meals. Her room does not have a kitchen. My Neighbor in Need - Family in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: Husband and Wife with a 2-year old, are expecting a baby in a couple of months. Both of the parents work, but they just spent all of their money getting into a place. They are in need of a used/working washing machine and electric clothes dryer. With the soon arrival of the baby, they will be overrun with cleaning needs. UPDATE: WE HAVE A DONOR WHO IS DONATING THE WASHING MACHINE, THEREFORE ALL WE NEED IS THE DRYER. My Neighbor in Need - Hardworking young lady who is starting over is in need of a few simple kitchen items. She found a safe place to call home but used all of her money to get into the home. She does have a 3/4- time job, but it is for low wages. She is in need of a used/working or new, microwave, toaster and a coffee maker.
