My Neighbor in Need - UPDATE SEE BELOW: Elderly lady on a low, fixed income is in immediate need of the removal of a very old, rotten and unsafe deck that is attached to her older trailer home. The deck is so bad, that she can no longer use the rear door to exit her trailer. Once the old deck is removed, she will need a small landing with stairs and railings so she can safely get in and out of her trailer. Our friends at Jack of all Trades Handyman Service is able to remove the old deck, haul it away, prep the area for the installation of a new landing and build and install the landing with stairs and railings for a deeply discounted price of $1,450 and the neighbor in need is able to pay $450 towards the total cost. She needs help with the remaining cost of $1,000. UPDATE: the neighbor in need paid her $450 and two caring donors have contributed a total of $200, therefore now we only need $800 and we can fulfill her need request. If you can help her, you are asked to make a donation of any amount up to $800 to My Neighbor in Need and we will get this need fulfilled very quickly. Remember, you are not required to provide all of the needed amount. Rather, tell us how much you wish to contribute and once we receive the total amount, we will get the work completed. My Neighbor in Need - UPDATE: SEE BELOW: Disabled woman with little income, is in need of getting her car repaired. Her car is not safe to drive in its current condition. It needs a new thermostat, and repairs made to the radiator. Our generous friends at Mr. Tune Up can repair these items for a discounted price of $278.48. The Neighbor in Need is able to pay $50.00 towards the repair, but she needs help with the balance of $228.48. She needs her car to get to crucial medical appointments. UPDATE: A CARING DONOR PAID $128.48 THEREFORE WE ONLY NEED $100 TO FULFILL THIS NEED. If you can help, you are asked to make a donation of any amount up to $100.00 to My Neighbor in Need, and we will get her car repaired. You are not required to pay the entire amount, rather just tell us how much you are able to contribute.
