My Neighbor in Need-Single, unemployed father of one, is in need of a gas card to get to and from job interviews. We have verified his driver license, registration and insurance, of which, is all current. Because it was needed immediately, we provided him with a $30 "Gas Only" gift card so he can make it to his interviews. We are asking help with the cost of the gas card. Neighbor in Need- UPDATE: SEE BELOW Senior woman with numerous medical issues and trying to survive on a low, fixed income, is in great need to have many of her large tree branches cleared from power lines on her property. Some of these branches are so large that they have power lines running through them. In fact, the branches are so thick it is hard to even see the power lines. This is creating a dangerous situation for her and could cause a fire. Because of her financial situation she cannot afford to have a company come out and make it safe, however our friends at AJ Tree Service have offered to spend the day and clear away many of the branches at a discounted price of $800. UPDATE: WE HAVE A GENEROUS DONATION OF $210 FOR THIS NEED, so we are looking for the remaining balance of $590. If you can help make her safe, you are asked to make a donation of any amount to My Neighbor in Need. You are not required to provide all of the needed amount, rather just tell us how much you wish to contribute.
