My Neighbor in Need- Young man, recently started new job, is in need of help with fuel until he receives first pay check. We verified his drivers license, registration, and insurance. Because he needed this immediately, we purchased the $30.00 gas card for him. We are asking help with the cost of the gas card. If you can help, you are asked to make any donation up to $30 to My Neighbor in Need and we will buy another $30 "Gas Only" card on your behalf so we are ready to help fulfill the next Immediate Need. My Neighbor in Need- UPDATE, SEE BELOW: Elderly woman on a fixed income, is in need of help getting her truck repaired. Her truck is her only mode of transportation and she needs it to get to necessary medical appointments. The crucial repair cost is $823.47 and she was able to find a way to put $412.00 towards the cost of the repair but she is unable to pay the remaining balance of $411.47. UPDATE: one kind donor contributed $200 and another generous donor contributed $100. Now we only need $111.47 and her need will be fulfilled. If you can help, you are asked to make any donation up to $111.47 to My Neighbor in Need and we will put your donation towards the cost of the repair. You are NOT required to provide all of the needed amount. Rather, just tell us how much you wish to contribute. Our generous friends at Carnahan's can do the repair for a discounted price of $497.64 and the Neighbor in Need is able to pay $297.64 toward the repair. She needs help paying the balance of $200.
