My Neighbor in Need-UPDATE: SEE BELOW The Mercy Home is in need of bus passes to use for women staying at the Domestic Violence Shelter. Many of these woman do not have any means of transportation and are looking for work so that they can move on with their lives. An 11 ride adult bus pass booklet costs just $10. If you can assist, you can make a donation towards the purchase of any of the 15 bus pass booklets ($150) and we will deliver them to the Mercy Home. This fuel would assist her in stabilizing her situation. My Neighbor in Need has verified her driver’s license, registration, and insurance. Due to her need being immediate, a $30.00 gas card was purchased for her. My Neighbor in Need is asking for help with the cost of the gas card. My Neighbor in Need- My Neighbor in Need- Your local Good Deed Doer organization is in need of pet food for both dogs and cats. It is that time of year where funds are tight for individuals and our Free Pet Food Pantry is having trouble meeting the needs of our furry friends. On average we give away about 400lbs of pet food every week! If you would like to help fulfill this need you can either donate bags of unexpired pet food or make a monetary donation of any dollar amount to My Neighbor in Need and we will purchase the food for our Free Pet Food Pantry.
